𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐔𝐒𝐀 (20th December) — As a continuation of its commitment to 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫, the National Association of Seadogs – Pyrates Confraternity (NAS), Pentagun Deck, partnered once again with the Greenbelt Police Department and community volunteers—this time to wrap holiday gifts purchased for local children using previously donated funds.

This event served as the sequel to the earlier check presentation, where donor contributions were formally provided to support the Greenbelt Police Department’s annual Shop-with-a-Cop initiative. Following the shopping experience, NAS Pentagun Deck volunteers joined Greenbelt Police officers and other community partners in a dedicated gift-wrapping session to prepare the purchased items for distribution to participating children.
The collaborative effort underscored the full lifecycle of community giving—from donation, to shopping, to final delivery—ensuring that no child is left behind during the holiday season.

A highlight of the event was a meeting with the Mayor of the city of Greenbelt, Mayor Emmett Jordan, who commended NAS Pentagun Deck for its sustained support and hands-on involvement beyond financial contributions. The Mayor also engaged NAS Pentagun Deck leadership in discussions exploring additional areas of collaboration between the organization and the City of Greenbelt in support of future community-focused initiatives.
“Operation Christmas Cheer is about accountability, presence, and impact,” said a representative of NAS Pentagun Deck. “We believe in seeing our support through—from the check presentation to the moment gifts are ready for the children.”

NAS Pentagun Deck expresses sincere appreciation to the Greenbelt Police Department, city leadership, volunteers, and donors whose collective efforts continue to bring hope and holiday cheer to families across the community.
