World AIDS Day, observed on 1 December every year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. World AIDS Day elucidates on the epidemic and historically was one of the first Global Health focused initiatives.
No nation can survive without strong moral and ethical foundation. Correspondingly, a nation devoid of morals and strong code of ethics is a nation without a soul. In plain speak; such a nation is without identity and can never take a pride of place in the comity of nations.

To an extent, humanitarianism has become part of the integral function of the organisation, given that Humanitarianism and Human Rights are closely associated.

The National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates' Confraternity) hails the recent judgment of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, which ordered the Federal Government to pay N36.7billion as compensation to the victims of the November 20, 1999 military invasion of Odi community in Bayelsa State.
