Church collapse: Seadogs donates blood to victims (2)

Following the collapse of a church building in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, members of the National Association of Seadogs has donated 21 pints of blood to injured victims of the disaster.

The incident happened after the auditorium of the Reigners Bible Church caved in and reportedly claimed several lives while several others were injured.

The association said it responded to the urgent need to donate blood to the injured as there were complaints of shortage of blood in public facilities.

‘Tackling infrastructure decay in N’ Delta will stem agitations’

The President of the National Association of Seadogs, Mr. Arthur Boje, has called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to tackle infrastructure deficit in the Niger Delta region to stem the rising wave of insurgency by militants.

Boje, who spoke in an interview on Friday, said agitators would have no reason to be rebellious if basic infrastructure were made available.

After years of wandering about and living in deprivation with no one to care for them, succour has at last come the way of street children in Aba, Abia State as members of the National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) from across the federation stormed the famous commercial city Saturday April 2 for the launch of their Street Child Project: “Save the Street Child Aba Initiative.”
